Well, we had such a wonderful time in Lick Wash the first time that we decided to return. Since it was a beautiful warm and sunny day, we could go further down the canyon since the previous time we were rushed due to threatening weather.
We we went further down the canyon, the wash opened up, although the walls of the bounding cliffs grew higher. Eventually, we reached a point where the wash terminated at the base of No Mans Mesa (in distance). No Mans Mesa is called that because it has sheer cliffs on all sides and can not be accessed without rock climbing skills.
But, there was this cool little slot canyon on the side we explored and ate lunch at.
